Cosmology at the Beach: Cluster Co-organises Winter School in Mexico

The Excellence Cluster Universe is one of the three organisers of a cosmology school taking place from 12-16 January 2009 in Los Cabos, Mexico. Partners for this event are the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics and the Instituto Avancado de Cosmología, Mexico. The school is directed at young scientists at the doctoral or postdoctoral level. They will profit from lectures by renowned senior scientists, e.g. by Nobel Prize Winner George F. Smoot. Lecture topics include Dark Energy, Dark Matter, CMB secondary anisotropy and simulation/visualisation.
