Formation of Black Holes in Topologically Massive Gravity

Abstract
We present an exact solution in 3-dimensional topologically massive gravity with cosmological constant which dynamically interpolates between a BTZ white hole in the asymptotic past and an AdS-wave. Similarly, one obtains a solution interpolating between an AdS-wave and a BTZ black hole.
