Abstract
The prompt fission probability has been studied by transmission resonacne spectroscopy in 232U following the 231Pa(3He,df) reaction at the Garching Tandem, using the Q3D magnet spectrograph. First steps of the analysis are presented and theoretical calculations of the potential energy curve of 232U as a function of the deformation is shown for different degrees of reflection asymmetry.
